hey, so i just bought a 95 si and it is my first civic that i have wanted to mod that i owned. right now it has a 3" exhaust with i think a 3.5 inch tip, i think its a custom exhaust. ive read alot about pipe sizes and alot of people say to stay close to 2" for more backpressure. the exhaust i have now is so loud and its a total fartcan lol, basicly i want to know if there are any cheeper routes to get a new exhaust because i cant stand my current one but i dont have a lot of money saved up. any advice would help.

auto part stores sell exhaust piping, make your own set up if you dont want to buy a pre made kit. it also depends on what your looking for sound wise and performance wise

i want something thats quiter at idle but a little loud when you get on it. like what a lot of people say the apexi exhausts r like. and performance i mean i would like to get a little better performance. anything but making it worse really though because i dont want to make it a race car lol because i dont have a bunch of money i wanna basicly just keep it clean and slightly modded

try an hks hi power cat back. they seem to have a low tone it low rpms

i used to have that on my wrx. it was 550 for the catback i dont wanna spend that much because i wanna do some work on my bike too plus i have alot more things i gotta repair on my civic with the little money i have hah
