01-03 to 04-05 Front swap (HELP)
Hey guys long time I didn't pass by. I'm just here to tell you that I got my car like a year ago so far so good a bought a civic 2003 coupe DX when I first got the car it was stock it didn't had anything just like I wanted.
I started working with him like a moth later bought some Tokico suspension ( Blue shocks) Rota grid rims , front lip , fog lights change the rear bumper for the 04 - 05 rear bumper, RS Grill and changed the head lights for some smoke ones and tinted the rear lights. So far it was looking like this

got tired of the smoke lights so I change them back to the OEM ones
just wanted to give you guys and update of what I been up to these last few moths, now the real reason why I made this post is cause I crash my car a week ago it was nothing big but I had to buy a new bumper and hood so I decide why not making a front swap from 01-03 to a 04- 05 front right ?
so I started working
Most of you guys know this but i had to get new fenders , bumper, hood, radiator support and headlights (with bulbs, pigtails, brackets)
Now I need help from you guys with 2 things I'm thinking about a new paint job maybe taffeta white (white rims to) or a white pearl ( Lexus IS ) also if you guys know where can I find the pigtails and bulbs and maybe a DIY for the whole thing the with the lights cause I think I have to change the wires right ? I'm really confuse so please let me know
THANK YOU AGAIN GUYS.

I always go to junkyards for pigtails. Auto stores don't carry them, an I don't believe the dealer does either. I know there's an 04/05 civic at my local junkyard I could cut the harness for you and ship it super cheap.

I never noticed how much better the 04-05 front end looks until this post. Looks great man. Sorry no answers to your question.

You factory head lights are 2 powers and a ground that hook to one bulb one power for the high beam part and another for low beam. The 04 05 headlights take 2 bulbs one high one low. So you will have one power and one ground going to each bulb. So take a test light or multi meter and find the power for low mark it then switch to high beam and mark it. There's your wiring.
When I was at auto zone today I swear I saw pig tails for multiple different bulbs, and are high temp ones that are better anyways. They also make adapters that switch your bulb uh to go for dual headlight bulbs. I had them for the stupid projector headlights that were in my car when I bought it. They were for h1 bulbs but are the same concept
