d17a1 intake manifold good for boosting?
I plan on boosting my 02 civic lx with the godspeed kit and was wondering if the plastic intake manifold could handle like 7 or 8lbs of boost. i was thinking about just wrapping it with steel wrap to reinforce it but i dont know if that is going to make it worse or if it would actually help.

It can easily support that. But if you're looking for horsepower go with the D16Y8 intake manifold. It's made of all aluminum and it has a better flow to it. I'll sell you mine.
