Re: Cruise Control

First hit this button, the light doesn't have to come on, mine doesn't but cruise still works:

Re: Cruise Control

You cant use cruise control when your going slow (like less than 25 mph) if thats what you mean by "a certain speed". The reasons why it may not work at all are numerous...do you have led tail lights? have you checked the fuse?

Re: Cruise Control

I do not have LED lights and fuse have been removed and checked to see if there was any damage or burnt area and it appears clean
My car barely reaches 70mph I would so much like to set my cruise at 60mi/hr and know its cruising.

Re: Cruise Control

Like rjones said there are numerous things that could be wrong with it. Bad main switch, bad set switch, bad brake switch, bad clutch peddle switch, or bad control unit.

Re: Cruise Control

I have never owned a car that the cruise stopped working. My first Accord had 290k miles on it and the cruise still worked. Something broke or came loose.
