Silver 2003 Civic LX Sedan/ES1
5 speed
Stock spoiler
Acura EL rims (correct me if I'm wrong)

I bought this car a couple of weeks ago (obviously used) @ approx. 139 000 KM. I dont plan on doing any MAJOR engine modifications! Just making it my 'BABY' for a lack of words

Modifications already in the car as of purchase:

-K&N 69 Series Typhoon Kit (Short ram air intake)
-Alpine CDA 9884 Single DIN head unit
-Lowered springs (i still have to confirm the make & model of the srpings)
-'Fart Canon' which does not sound that bad at all.. (I have yet to confirm what this exhaust system on it is)

Modifications/Things that I have changed so far:

-Changed all interior lights, trunk and rear license plate into LED bulbs
-Oil changed to Mobil 1 5w20 Full synthetic with Fram oil filter
-Installed an aux input for the head unit and cleaned up the wires from the previous sound units/alarms and some other junk

Im still deciding with what to do/fix next.. Let me know what you guys think!

Re: My 2003 Civic LX build/ The Daily Driver build

I would like to add... that a few days after I just bought the car, my passenger front, rear doors and rear fender were keyed/scratched up!! I mean scratched DEEP! Apparently there's been a couple of kids/retards walking around my neighbourhood messing around with ppl's cars... One of them happened to be mine A few cars tires' were depleted (the pins were found to have been tampered with/loosen) Mine was parked on the bottom part of our driveway and ended up with a new decal! Definitely a **** off!! That kinda turned me off with doing anything unique with my "Baby" but I'm still keeping my head up and I'll see it as i go...

Re: My 2003 Civic LX build/ The Daily Driver build

If all they did was lossen the shrader valve all you need to do is tighten it. How deep are the scratches? If you run your finger nail over them does it catch? If not they can more then likely be removed. If they catch your fingernail they probably cant. Pictures help.

Re: My 2003 Civic LX build/ The Daily Driver build

Hey I have a question. Those LED lights you have will the cover go back on or did you have to keep it off? I was thinking about getting them but only if the covers will go back on. Sorry to hear about your car too that sucks. I would hunt those kids down. Sit outside wait for them to come by then airsoft the crap out of em lol

Re: My 2003 Civic LX build/ The Daily Driver build

ya i ran finger nails through them and they do more than just catch.. its really deep. I will be taking pictures when i have time.. i'm still going to try sanding it down a little and touching up the paint..

civic0427 yes all the covers for all the lights i changed comes back on. i just kept it off to take a pic.. btw the front, trunk and license plates are all the same sizes the one above the rear passenger seats is the only one that's different its like a cylinder type (i forgot the proper term for the bulb)

That sucks man!!! You gotta hunt down those kids!! Do you live near the Kitchener area? I got some friends up there, and a few weeks ago same thing happened to them, keyed up cars and any unlocked car had stuff stolen.

Do you know exactly what brand and model bulbs you put in? No biggie if you threw out the packaging or dont know.
