Re: rsx shift **** on an em2
What does the bottom of the **** look like? I have the Fit Sport/RSX standard aluminum **** on my Civic. I had to get a new collar because my OEM **** had clips on it. If you're buying one new, it should come with all the stuff to do the modifications. And by collar, I mean a PCV valve grommet and a zip tie.

they look similar... but the **** is oem from an rsx so it is just the ****. the oem one does have clips in it but i would think the rsx **** does too since it is oem also whether or not those clips fit into the **** is the real question i guess.
i just want it to look nice and clean

Yeah. Having the flush look is nice. The one I have just screws on, so I needed to grab a washer and a 10 x1.5 nut to even everything out. That's what you'll need to do if you want it to look good.

You can reuse the boot if you like. It just depends on the type of know like I said. The RSX one may just be a screw down type, but in order for the boot to stay up, you will need a zip tie and some type of collar to prevent it from falling off. I've suggested www.redlinegoods.com to a few people. They have quality genuine leather shift boots. I've have mine since I got my car and it has held up very well with proper care. I would check 'em out if you wanna look into getting one.
