Honda antifreeze ?

Isn't there another antifreeze on the market that is a suitable replacement for the Honda antifreeze ? Sure is hard to believe that Honda's chemical makeup is unique.

There is no general consensus on what is right or wrong here. Seems that the people that know the most about this kind of stuff believe that silicate free coolant is silicate free and you can use it in your Honda (Prestone included). However, I feel more comfortable using Honda coolant in my Honda, so it's totally up to you.
