Hey All New Guy Here

Hey

A little about myself and a question or two!

I recently got a job in a Honda dealership (i was a welder for 2 years previous, huge career change) after taking every 2009 Honda product out for a test drive (perks of the job!) I have my heart set on a 2009 Civic Si.

My question is this: how do you replace the factory stereo?! i haven't seen any pics of it done on the 2009s yet and im a bass head so i was just wondering if its the kind of deal best done by a professional, or if its still a DIY thing.

Has anyone had warranty issues with aftermarket stereos and whats the process? Im wondering about it for both myself, and customers should i get asked one day.

Up until now ive been a domestic car kinda guy (rebuilding 94 mustang currently as well) and haven't been following civic products until now, so any help from the people that drive them would be appreciated

Re: Hey All New Guy Here

they make a big dash trim kit that replaces the oem one so a normal stereo will fit.
