Yesterday I picked up a brochure on the 2008 Coupe and was disappointed to see the highway mileage drop to 34 mpg on the EX MT. The 2007 got 37 mpg. The 2008 appears to weigh the same as the 2007 so I'm curious as to why the mileage has dropped. Any ideas?

ell from what i hear theyre using a new gas mileage system for the 2008 models to be more exact to actual driving conditions, so technially same ga mileage, but more true to what youre actually going to get

This is on EVERY vehicle, there was a write up online about the EPA using something other then closed course 55 mph highway driving, They started using the A.C., more aggressive driving, more mountainous terrain, etc to reflect what a consumer will REALLY see... How many times do you say yea how much will i REALLY get... well now you know. I own an 07 ex m.t and on the highway i'm gettin 37-38 and about 33 driving backroads to work with a little inner city mix. My best mileage was highway @ 75 mph soo you could possibly reach 40 mpg if you went 60.... good luck bro, I can't complain about 30+ i've been an suv rock crawler until 2 mo. ago!
