Does anyone know how to remove the radio from a 07 2 door non-nav?

Re: 07 radio removal

Its kinda hairbrained but if you're determined to do it, you actually have to take apart the entire dash (minus the passenger side). And, theres an order in which the panels come off. However, rather than try and explain it to you, i'll give you a hint and a link to go with it. Find factory/dealer accessory that requires the same disassembly and use its (pdf) instructions. well, believe it or not, i can't find the one i used when i installed my bluetooth kit but i can give you a general order. The first panel to come out is the drivers kick panel. If you have the double kick panel (another one that is black plastic) pop the black one out first. it should come right out. The next one has one or more small screws. after that one is out the upper one (the one that has the tach hood) now, check for any screws. there might be one or two but i think its mostly clips from here on out. once you have that panel out of the way, DONT try to pry the stereo out. there's a small panel under it in that little storage alcove that you have to pop out. This is where it gets to be a pain. Up through that panel (and its not just right inside they're IN THERE) are two bolts that are 1 of three sizes, 8mm, 10mm, or 14mm. You're going to need a ratchet and an extension and be prepared to fumble around a bit. once those two are out the stereo pretty much slides right out, just make sure you disconnect the A/C wires before you pull it out too far. I'm pretty sure thats it
