Exclamation Question about Torque Wrench?

I am going to be renting a torque wrench from autozone on sunday so I can torque my wheels on correct and the caliper bolts. I was wondering, what sockets can I use with the wrench, just regular ones from a socket set, and if so, what are the lug nut size and all 4 caliper bolt sizes?

depends on the wrench, the have 1/2" and 3/8" drives. im assuming they'll give you a 3/8". regardless you just use regular sockets

do I need a 1/2'' or 3/8'' for torquing the lug nuts? Also I need deep sockets correct?

1/2" is better

lol......my dad has a $1,200 torque wrench, 1" drive.....he actually let me use it today

I torqued a nut on a hydraulic cylinder for one of our track loaders. Torqued it to 600lbs and used a 4 into 1 multiplier which gave me 2400 lbs

So I can use a 1/2 inch drive torque wrench to torque my lug nuts and the caliper bolts? That means I have to get 1/2 drive sockets, 19mm, 17mm and the other one, not sure what it is? Is this correct?

ctx66 will become famous soon enoughctx66 will become famous soon enough
6 pt sockets have six notches inside the socket to grab the bolt head, and 12pt sockets have 12 notches.
