If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: srs connectors under seat...cut
Fix the wires....then you can find out (if) the buckles are bad causing codes.

Re: srs connectors under seat...cut
The buckles flat 3 wire connector is for the SPDT microswitch inside the buckle.
A screaming yellow 2 wire connector is for a pyrotechnic charge for the SRS system, if it goes to the buckle area then that buckle can be fired by the SRS system to tighten the seat belt. (tensioner) Colors will be some combo of grn/blk, grn/yel/ grn/red, and grn
Seat belts can also have their own tensioner systems too.
(There is also an airbag in the side of both front seatbacks (side airbag) on most of the cars (upper seat cover will have a tag stating so), it also uses a screaming yellow connector...and the passengers seat has the OPDS system which adds something like 4 more wires.)
This style buckle has it in the long tube:
Side by side, SRS tensioning vs. plain:
You could enter your VIN in an online parts catalog, figure out what parts of the system it was supposed to be equipped with....
Maybe the floor harness was changed out and it had too many wires?
Seats changed out and there was too many wires?
Nah....that's too logical for what all has been hacked on that car.
