My 2013 Civic Hybrid started having a tiny slippage just after putting Driving during the first cold start, after that it works perfectly fine. So I decided to change the fluid so I bought 6 qts at the dealer (with the intinction of changing it twice), the guy in the counter (not very knowledgeable) told me that the HCF-2 fluid was the correct one. When I was about to change it I realized that the bottle says that the fluid should only go in vehicles with the HCF-2 fluid tag in the dipstick but my vehicle's dipstick only says CVTF...
Today I went to the dealer and there was another guy, much knowledgeable and servicial that the previous one. He asked around and make a couple of phone calls to be sure; he finally told my may vehicle should use the old kind of fluid CVTF, swapped the bottles and returned a little $ as it is cheaper
But now I am really doubtful what is the correct fluid? Owners manual only mention CVTF and nothing about HCF-2.
.
Sorry for the spanish in the photo of the bottle of fluid (I'm from Mexico)
