I recently bought a 99 Civic SIR. Car has a long list of little things to deal with but is in good shape overall (for a 26 year old Civic). One of the issues that needed dealing with was the clear coat failure on the trunk mounted rear spoiler. The spoiler is in good shape but when I was removing the nuts from the mounting bolds they snapped immediately. There has been much moisture in there for a really long time. I got the spoiler off and upon flipping it over I saw the state of the metal brackets that keep the spoiler bolted to the trunk lid (please see picture). I naively assumed this would be an easy part to source. As it turns out the beautiful tall spoilers of the SIR trim were a dealer added option so (according to the very helpful parts manager at my local Honda dealer) they came in a box and were added locally. As a result, there is no part number for the bracket themselves. I'm hoping you fine folks can help me find some replacement brackets or have an alternate mounting method for the spoiler. Any info is greatly appreciated. ***Sorry for the huge pics. First time posting on a forum in some time***
