Hey all Just picked up a 2006 Honda Civic SI for $3000.00 that is in perfect condition. Been sitting in a garage for over a decade. It her husbands car who hasn't driven in years. She was tired if writing a check for the insurance every month. Thought it was a good deal and would make a good first car for my daughter. Car has 45,000 mi on the odometer and doesn't have a scratch on it. Thinking it was a good deal but probably should take it and have the timing belt replaced because its been sitting so long. Its got the original tires on it and probably should change those out along with hoses and anything else made of Rubber. Don't know a lot about these cars is there anything else that I should change out due to it sitting for so long. Car has a 5 speed manual gearbox. I figure if my daught hates the manual transmission I would just sell the car. So whats the big deal about these Civic SI's?
