2004 Civic LX swapped D17A1 non Vtec to D17A Vtec, now I have no fuel pump voltage. All fuses and relay checked, any ideas?

Forgot to bolt down the set of ground wires on the upper radiator hose neck?

All grounds attached and checked with ohm meter. Did not swap crank and cam sensors from old to JDM.

Did not swap crank and cam sensors
That should be the same as long as the new ones are good. The only thing that isn't plug and play is the VTEC that wasn't on the D17A1 engine.

Blown fuses in either fuse box?

Both of these grounds clean and tight? The small wires are for the PCM and just about everything related to powertrain controls.

All fuses good, no codes, ran hot wire to verify pump good.

Then I'd get a wiring diagram and start checking the 4 circuits of the fuel pump relay to see which leg is missing, then I'd have a direction to go from there.

Anything else missing? Got spark? Got injector pulse?

I found that pump will prime but shuts off after engine starts.

Re: After D17A1 to D17A swap no fuel pump.

So...engine runs 2 seconds maximum?
Do fuel injectors also lose their ground "pulse" from the PCM at the same time?

Check green key symbol, is it flashing rapidly when the engine shuts down?
Does the green key symbol act normal or not?

Have you checked timing belt/cam timing yet?

Assuming it shuts down at 2 seconds and the green key symbol is not flashing.....If you unplug the cam sensor, will it run longer than 2 seconds? Is it making a rattle noise when it runs?
