I don't personally own a Civic...I do have an Accord...and so I'll be honest about this: some of the Civic configurations confuse me. And Simota bases everything
on the Asian market, to make it even more complicated.
I've been told that the CAIs are not interchangeable between the DX/LX and EX, so I just assumed the Aeroform wouldn't fit in there correctly either.
You guys have seen the pic.

You were told specifically that the CAIs would not be interchangable, but did they say anything about the SRIs? Also what is the diameter on the intake piping? I might be interested in one for my auto 03 LX if I can make it work.

Sorry, forgot to answer...yes, the filter is inside the heat shield, right where the heat shield and piping connect.

Yes, that is what I was told by Simota. But that's part of the problem. Because
Simota's experience with North American models is limited, I have to do a lot of test-fitting.
That's why I am asking if anyone can tell from the picture.
If not, then we'll have to do some test-fits.

Dude, guys... I have an LX and I bought my CAI from WestImports and it fit fine... I'm getting this intake too and it will fit... I know it fits the EX and the LX because I own the CAI and used it in my car... now I got an injen SRI until he gets these things in. 7 weeks, you're killing me, Gary!

And Gary, if you want me to test fit I'd gladly do it, you know I'm good for it. I wont even ask for a discount!

The only difference is, the CAI was made specifically for the DX/LX. I never tried putting one of those on the EX.

Yeah, but my Injen SRI is for the EX but the product number is the same for the LX as well, that's why I am not worried at all... the throttle body is the same location and the bolts... shouldn't be any difference... either way, I'll test it out for ya!
