Intakes are on the way...first leg of the journey is to the Port of L.A...it was too late for me to add more to this order, so there will be only six of each, 6th & 7th gens. Guess I'll have to go somewhere else to pick on the 6th genners...meantime, I have the CAIs for the DX/LX already in stock for a really good price if anyone wants one---just $85 shipped to the lower 48.

As far as I know I am the only dealer in North America offering this model...Simota is fairly new to this market.
Chances are someone on the waiting list will probably back out once they get here.

Latest is they are hitting port of LA this weekend. I hope to have them by
the 30th or 31st. Once they've cleared customs in LA I'll collect money from those who want one as soon as they come in to me.

mmm well they were shipped from asia. 2 weeks is reasonable.. it takes 2 weeks for items to come from US to Canada anyways.

That thing looks so bad **** man, but i had a question. Like the heat shield thing, is the air filter inside there??? and if so whats the deal with i guess water flying in there from the front, like how does that work out? and also what is the diameter of the piping?

You won't get any water...and the filter is removable and cleanable.
The filter is really only slightly smaller than a reg intake filter.
As for diameter, I'll find out later tonight. I'm taking one home to snap a few pics.

I can get those too, but Simota lists the Carbon Fiber intakes for the 2.0L engine only...Type R and CRV...it's not the same block/engine config as the
D17, is it?

I have mine installed and it sounds great. Not too loud but noticable!!

As for power, (heh, what power) not too sure on the low end, but top end is noticabley better. Looks nice, but I would need to agree, fake cf ftl 8(
