K20 and turbo swapped into Civic

damn, that is very very nice!

Found one problem when we changed the differential.
The bearing was cracked and the intermediate shaft was bent.
Thank God we changed out the differential

It's actually the K20A2 (RSX Type-S).
Not all the install on my own BUT I do have a freiend at Honda doing special favors :D

Honestly the 3 inch exhaust is going to be too much. All the EP3s and RSXs that I've seen with CN kits make more power on 2.5 instead of 3 inch exhaust.

Is there any way you can take a pic of the clearance between the subframe and the 3in downpipe? I'm currently getting a new downpipe being made. I had a bad case of wheel hop on street tires. The downpipe was banging on the subframe reinforcements. I'm thinking of just getting a 2.5 flared to a 3in. I'm also getting stiffer mounts from hasport (77). The ones I got with the esk1 kit arent stiff enough. Anyhelp would be appreciated thanks.


BTW:My car is up in ny waiting to go in the shop. I'm stationed in nc. Which is why I can't take a pic myself.

so how much did you pay total? or end up paying total?

K20A2 engine, tranny, ECU, wire harness, subframe, axles, all hoses, reservoirs, sensors, exhaust manifold and cat. converter, basically everything except the front lower control arms
$4000 USD

The rest. Lets put it this way, with everything we are looking at around $15,000 for the swap

Ebay but it didn't sell and I contacted the autowrecker directly and made a deal with almost everything I needed.
