ok, sorry, dont have time to read all the responces, but i saw someone wanted to paint there tails, well ok, form what I gathered about 2 years ago, when i first got my vic, its very hard, the sealent is very brittle, the covers are very thin and brittle, the only guy I have got info out of that actualy had sucess ended up using a dremel to open them. Then he used a PVC sealent to close them again, once you got them open, its should be fairly simple to paint what you want, its just getting them open that is a bitch....
