First of all, I'm sorry about what happened at our last meet. We will plan in advance and will mark this an August 6 meet, as 7thgendman suggested. This gives you guys over a month to request your day off from work, come back from any vacation, having babies, etc... We would like to have a decent turnout this time around.

DATE: AUGUST 6, 2005
LOCATION: BUSSE WOODS (I will provide a location via mspaint :p )
TIME: 12:00 to ??? (Grilling will commence as soon as the grill is available)

**I will be there to reserve the area as early as 11:30**

As your contribution to this meet, please bring something. We all know how hard it is to grill with a plastic knife... or is that just me?

Heres a pic of the busse woods area. I have made it clear where we were the last time and it worked out pretty good.

Now everyone take the day off work and freakn show up. I should have my car fixed by then, may have a new look coming!!!! We'll see. Let's make this a good one guys, we need to get this chicago forum back up and running. We have guys coming from all over IL, driving hours, just to come to these meets and then the local guys don't show. We have to make this a good meet so lets DO IT. Everyone has plenty of time to get ready, clean your $hit and make an appearence.

I'm not sure about this one... it's a little far off to tell right now. It'll depend on Greg's racing schedule and family stuff. I think that the S3 Triple Crown Challenge is that weekend at Mid-Ohio, so we may be there, but I really don't know. I'll let ya'll know when it gets closer.

(speaking for Speedwerx too... put us down as maybes, not bringing anything right now)

I have never gone to a meet of 7thgencivics. I just wanted to see what ya do? Obviously bar-b-que and some tossing around football, frisbee ect..

Is that basically the whole meet, or is there some group cruise to some specific destination? Just wonderin.

question2: Is there any fast 7th gen on here that may show up? I would not mind at all seeing a fast one, modded properly - if such a thing exists.

question3: es2k2 what is the ball in your sig? I've been trying to figure that out for a while now?? hehe

usually no cruise. In past meets we've had some fast na/turbo vics and I've been in a few. But now most are just normal mods. The sig is that robot from the movie, hitchhikers guide to the galaxy.

my brakes? lol. well i got a small grill but if you bring yours too that would mean more cooking at once. We need charcoal, lighter fluid, etc. I'll bring some burgers and drinks.

Alright guys we got less than 2 weeks i believe till we have this meet. we have 11 members as well as non 7thgeners coming. this should be fun, however, we need the items covered. we have several members bringing stuff, please bring one of the items if you havent already.

any of you who havent confirmed should expect a PM within the next day or so.

also if anyone has anything to sell bring that along. =)
