Thats wierd. Ive used most Dannys, and I say 7th and bell is the best one. I got a wash/hand wax the other day. They do leave a bunch of wax in the crevices, even though they use those brushes to get it all. But I have my own brushes that are better than theirs, so I finish it up myself when I get it back. And Im happy that i only had 5 minutes of work for a decent detail, and there is no wax left over when Im done.

All car washes suck, period. So I bring all my own rags/tools for when they are done, and I do the rest til I am happy. Doesnt take long. Im going to Chevron in a few for the 5 dollar drive through wash. It doesnt get very dry, but Ill finish it up myself.

if you have to finish it up yourself, why dont you just do the whole thing yourself?

isnt that defeating the purpose of having someone else detail your car?

Rufus 03-30-2006 11:04 PM

Chris after all of the crap you talked about your Civic, then I see your sig about a "clean ass ride" I've decided to never buy anything from you. lol

dude i know what you mean... but what can i say that gas station wash at 19th & thunderbird rocks if you need a quick wash job.. but be careful i had that one stop right in the middle of the wash. i was stuck there for like 20 or 30 mins....

Rufus 03-31-2006 10:19 AM

^^ What are you doing on a Civic website at 3AM on a Friday?

shifthis 03-31-2006 10:27 AM

Cant do anything good on the internet at 3 am.

Rufus 03-31-2006 03:29 PM

Didn't Chris Rock say that about being out at 3 AM in general?

fieryhill 04-02-2006 06:57 PM

Well I know you guys don't know me I just need a place to vent. As for what has been going on with me, I go to ASU and I had to withdraw from 3 of my 4 classes because I was not going to be able to pass. A suggestion for anyone who does not know what they want to do with their life ***don't go to a major university to figure it out*** It's a waste of time and money. If you want to try things out either take some classes at a community college or just research different types of jobs and see if you can follow someone around like an internship etc. Now I gotta finish out the one class I'm passing (which school caused me to drop from full time work to part time I made $400+ a week before part time, and now its going to be really hard to go back to full time). Of all things this really sucks and never say it can't get any worse because I know they still could.:_disgust:

Funny you say that. My yellow top only lasts like 20 minutes with the car off and the stereo on.
