NEXT MEET QUESTION(PHOENIX)

does sunday, august 24th sound good??

RBABE 07-24-2003 05:13 PM

Perfect for me! C'mon all yee slackers out there, let's get this going! Let's outdo our largest meet! We can do it! ;)

FALKEN 07-24-2003 05:24 PM

my goal this time is 20 cars (or more)

ponyman 07-24-2003 05:42 PM

I might be able to make it. I wont know until it gets closer as the 25th is the first day of classes so that whole week before hand I will be pretty busy with helping to get ready for rush and doing pre-rush events with my fraternity. However, I will try hard to make it.

RBABE 07-24-2003 06:13 PM

Right on Richard, that would be all good!

J.T.-MOS DEF 20 AT LEAST!!!

olytrojan 07-24-2003 09:18 PM

i've never been to a meet, but i want to go to the next one, the 24th sounds good to me. do you meet at the same place everytime or do you go different places?

RBABE 07-24-2003 09:32 PM

We usually go to different places. Maybe we will find one place that we are real happy with, but until then, we are all over the place.

C'MON GUYS-DOES THIS DATE WORK FOR YOU?

wisheshehadone 07-25-2003 09:16 AM

Its fine for me. It will be the day before school starts for me as well and may need some R&R.

-Kyle

FALKEN 07-25-2003 10:34 AM

starting to sound like a 'back to school' meet...(for the youngsters that is) :hgrin:

RBABE 07-25-2003 11:02 AM

So true J.T., however, I think we did a fine job with these youngsters of ours, don't you? We raised them good and proper and they never ask for any money from their mama and papa. :hgrin:

ALRIGHT GUYS, WE HAVE 3 REPLIES FROM YOU SO FAR, LET'S KEEP IT GOING!!!

SOHCScreamer 07-25-2003 03:22 PM

i dont think i will make it.

RBABE 07-25-2003 03:42 PM

Well, why not, Zaid? Would it help if we changed the date for you so you could make it? :)

FALKEN 07-25-2003 04:33 PM

FALKEN 07-25-2003 04:34 PM

RBABE 07-25-2003 04:37 PM

The key word there J.T. is, "attempting!" :D I jus playin' wit u, it sounds great!

b0ym0nkey 07-25-2003 04:52 PM

hi there, i've had my car 2002 civic ex ebp for about a year now, actually my cars birthday was the 21st of july :D But anyways, i still haven't done anything to my car. I'm an incoming freshmen to ASU this year (so school starts the 25th) and I have a class on Mondays and Wednesday at 8:00AM, I would be able to attend the meet (if you don't mind a stockie car ) as long as it didn't go too late. I haven't really thought about doing anything to my car, but lately, i've really wanted to. Want to see how everyone else's rides look. Bye!

RBABE 07-25-2003 04:54 PM

bOymOnkey-You are more than WELCOME to come!!! See you there!

b0ym0nkey 07-25-2003 05:06 PM

would anyone happen to know where the meet will be located at? I live in mesa (Baseline/Alma School) are the closest major streets. And my parents have a small chinese restaurant in Tempe (Mill/University) so thats where i'm closest too, but i'm up for wherever.

I'm also thinking about picking up the altezza upper grille and gunmetal headlights (for those do you need to buy yellow turn signals?) would anyone like to help a n00b install? :help: :_doh:

RBABE 07-25-2003 05:11 PM

Location has not been decided yet! I'm almost positive that you don't need yellow bulbs for your lights. Someonre in here might be willing to help you with them, we are usually pretty helpful peeps in here! We could even do it at the meet if you want?

FALKEN 07-25-2003 05:16 PM

ill help a nOOb out :hgrin:

RBABE 07-25-2003 05:26 PM

That's my papa bear, helping out the n00bies! :)

b0ym0nkey-Do you have a hard on to do it now or can you wait for the meet (about your lights and grill)?

ALRIGHT GUYS-WE ARE NOT DOING TOO BAD SOO FAR, WHO ELSE CAN MAKE THIS DATE?

b0ym0nkey 07-25-2003 05:29 PM

nah, i haven't even bought them yet, scrounging the internet for good prices :p i can wait for the meet

KrasD 07-26-2003 06:35 AM

Im going to try to make this meet. Havent been to one in ages. I definately think a park would rock. The BBQ meet from way back was tight.

RBABE 07-26-2003 09:55 AM

It should be a park type deal, it will be good to see you again. I don't think I have seen you since Eric's pad that hella long time ago. Have you figured a deal with Nissan? I want my ride in your new car! ;) Glad to read you dug my Roadrunner park meet from last year, J.T. will be able to make it at least that good if not better! It all depends on us!

GUYS-WE ALL ABLE TO DO THIS DATE?????

SOHCScreamer 07-27-2003 01:00 AM

not really guys. i think i'l probably show up but i dont know cuz my birthday is that monday and i wanna party before school starts.
its too early to tell. we'll see.

RBABE 07-27-2003 01:10 AM

Zaid-that is totally understandable, but, I know we all hope you can stop by for a little bit at least!

Pastor 07-27-2003 10:07 AM

I hope I will make this meet. What show are we thinking about hitting up?

RBABE 07-27-2003 10:09 AM

Ryan-the show we hit or location is still in the works. J.T. is thinking BBQ in the park with a little install action on the side. I hope you can make it!

Essa 07-27-2003 12:39 PM

Hey guys and gals...long time no see. Name the time and place. Hopefully I could make it. So far, I don't see anything on my schedule yet. I'll bring some drinks and/or :_beer: if somebody provide the cooler box.

RBABE 07-27-2003 12:56 PM

Essa, WOW! There you are, I thought your wife would of taken your car away when you had all that crap happen to you in Cali. I'm glad she didn't, I hope everything is resolved with that? How have you been? I hope you can make it, I haven't seen you since the pavillions last year.

dragin 07-27-2003 02:18 PM

depending on were its at, i may be able to make it

RBABE 07-27-2003 04:06 PM

dragin-hopefully you can make it so we can meet you, just keep checking back as we pull it all together.

dragin 07-27-2003 08:08 PM

were do you guys usualy met & what do you do? i read some thin bought bbq's......

RBABE 07-27-2003 09:22 PM

We meet at different locals and basically talk to each other and show our rides to each other, we are going to probably be doing installs at this one for a couple of items that peeps bring that they need help with. Of course, we eat. I'm not sure what you are trying to say in your last sentence?

RBABE 07-28-2003 02:29 PM

And, THAT IS ALL WE NEED! :)

OKAY GUYS-PLEASE POST HERE IF THE DATE WORKS FOR YOU, THANK YOU!!! WE ARE STILL MISSING A LOT OF YOU!!! SO, QUIT PLAYING POCKET POOL AND PUT DOWN ALL PIPES SO YOU CAN TYPE! THEN OF COURSE, RESUME WITH YOUR VICES!!! ;)

ponyman 07-28-2003 04:56 PM

Hey I never play pocket pool at work and I only use a pipe when I am camping (don't ask). My vice is buying car parts, it is where my money from cigarettes started to go after I quit in Feb.

RBABE 07-28-2003 05:11 PM

That a boy, Richard!

RevHigh 07-28-2003 08:59 PM

hello all...

I'm sure I could make that meet. And who cares if school starts the next day? Back to School 2003 meet sounds like fun to me...

Damn, that is funny, Kyle! Of course my baby Joey is down, he is always down and I cherish him for it! ;)

FALKEN 07-29-2003 04:02 PM

how should we handle the food issues??

RBABE 07-29-2003 04:03 PM

I usually asked everyone to volunteer a BBQ item until I thought all of them were covered.

ponyman 07-29-2003 04:42 PM

Exactly, the first day is all about the syllabus and if the meet is in PHX. Those that go to ASU have a short drive back to campus. UofA ppl well have to go a little bit farther. But those of us up at NAU well we have the bad drive. :pimp:

FALKEN 07-29-2003 04:47 PM

i plan on having this bbq as a lunch thing ya know

RBABE 07-29-2003 04:51 PM

Really, J.T.? It is going to be soo damn hot and muggy at lunch time in August in Phoenix. You know, how the heat just radiates off of the pavement. I was thinking that the evening would be better, but, we do need light for installs so it should probably we lunch time.

SaiyanMatador 07-29-2003 05:05 PM
