Dyno results will be in by February we estimate 180/200 to the wheels with Nitrous. With Turbo and Nitrous GOD KNOWS! I will probably blow up :) |
mmmmmmmmmmmm turbo!!!! congrats Hector. i see not 1, not 2, but many mag. articles/coverages in your future lookin' good! ~Joey |
Only 180 to the wheels with Nitrous? I'm not dissin or anything just wondering how big of a shot you are running? And how much without nitrous? |
nice dude cant wait 2 see the dyno results |

Torque is good ;) on a 1/4 mile And it get's better I just got a pro-street performance clutch kit, 50% Organic 50% ceramic And an aluminum crankshaft pulley by Unorthodox, that should free up more hps he he he he :moon: Will post pictures of the transplant next week. |
Is coming alive tomorrow morning i can't wait. |

what kind of shot are you using for that 180? i'd assume it would make 180 with a 50 shot. I'm going for 180 with a 75. Good luck man...thats an awsome job so far. |
I'm using 75 The engine is up and running now, we are trouble shooting tonight little noises here and there. But it runns great! I wont have any track or dyno for awhile i'm working out of town the rest of the month, besides I have to brake it first 500ml or so |
NICE |
any updates hector? |

dope! :D |
are you going to convert the ignition system to a DIS ignition and 2 coil packs with real sparkplu wires running to the spakplugs instead of the current setup with single coil packs over the sparkplugs? |

:_bow: Supermex any updates man? that engine's hella tight, what you got done to it bro? can you give me the 4-1-1? i.e. where did you get it done, what you did to it and how much? I got about 3gssss to spend on p&p, pulleys, flywheel/clutch, and still got about a grand left, I dunno what else needs to be done to it, I was thinkin fuel pump and injector but our ride looks so damn complicated! anyway let me know again bro! Thanks! :_beer:  |

Thanks! :_beer:  The engine ran for about 500ml and there was some internal noise. We are back inside the block and modifying the sleves cause the crower rods are thicker than stock and they are rubbing with the bottom of the sleves so the sleeves have to be notched. After I'm done I'll post a brief summary of parts and labor done to it as well as problems encountered. I took my old block to Race Engineering in Lake Worth Fl. They will use it to design bolt on performance parts. So whatch out pretty soon they'll be available. |
ahhh yes.. thats whats next for me!! |
:_bow:Right on brotha! keep it up! |
I'm going to build my spare short block and sell it with a trade in. |
