Photo-shoot of the EM2...Last dyno run at 380whp so far. More tuning tomorrow.
 

Hi fellow members. I went for a quick photo-shoot after the Lollicup Car Meet #2 at Stockton yesterday. Thanks to Phong Nguyen who took the photos!

I finally found out what has been robbing the car of power after all this time. I had a cracked Greddy Turbo Manifold. It cracked all the way in half between the 3rd and 4th runner. The car is back in the shop getting a GT35R Turbo upgrade with a custom side mount turbo manifold and downpipe. I'm shooting for around 400whp this time.

I'm still working on the interior. I'll post some picks as soon as I'm done. I just been having a heard time finding a dashboard in black at the salvage yards. Yes it's a Benen rear tow hook.

Hopefully I can get the interior finished soon. My future mods will be some EDM folding mirrors, side-markers, volk wheels in gunmetal or bronze w/ 5 lug conversion, red bride seats, strut bar, sway bars and maybe a big brake kit.

400whp can easily be made. I made 423whp on just 14lbs on 93 pump.

Engine swap is but the turbo kit is not. Greddy has not had their RSX Turbo Kit pass Carb Status yet. I don't show off on the street so the police usually leave me alone. I only had one jerk cop pull over for no reason after exiting a Hot Import Nights car show for no reason and had me pop my hood a few years back.

I was pulled over two more times since Hot Import Nights. I was going a little over the speed limit. When the two cops had pulled me over I was afraid they where going to ask me to pop my hood. They were both cool and gave me a warning to watch my speed because I had a good driving record.

Yes the car has kpro. I'm also changing the restrictive piping and the intercooler from the previous Greddy Kit. I agree this set up will make 400whp plus easily. I'm just sandbagging my projections.

The GT35R and Tial 38mm wastegate are in and the shop is finishing up on the manifold. They said the car may be done in two weeks.

It was the tiny Mitsubishi Spec T517Z Turbo that came with the Greddy Kit.

I just installed my HTA35 today. Took me 2 hours, I've got some details to take care of, like one I need a smaller fan because the stock one wont fit now.

ha ha ha...really? Standard issue? Around here standard issue is like...I43 CUWN. My plate says "HIOFC3R" ha ha ha....lets just say...the smart cops...get me in touble, the idiots...ask me what it means, then let me go w/ a warning ha ha ha.

Turbo and mani are on. The shop is now working on the intercooler and piping. I can't wait..woot...woot...

it looks like a very clean install!! How many pounds you looking to run at? whats done to the block? what fuel upgrades are getting done in conjunction with the turbo

Make sure you post a vid of the startup on streetfire or something. i am very intrigued with this build!
