I already called first dibs on the trade.

TransformedBG 05-08-2006 02:16 AM

Maybe i should trade you my civic straight up? K20A Supercharged?

cleancivic 05 05-08-2006 09:08 AM

all he realy needs to do is take off the arc bullshit and go to ams or busher racing ...that arc is not the best stuff for ur evo and for all the money u wasted on the arc shit if u would have spent it with the two companys i said u would be own alot of shit on the street.

i think u need read up a little more on arc if u look at the top evos in all racing (i.e drag auto x time attack etc) u will not see arc on none of them i am talking about mags,tv im sorry but arc is not the best. it is over priced and not everyone can get it at cost.....u see arc stuff more on show cars then track drivin car so thank u come again

PunkingCivic 05-08-2006 05:17 PM

Well I wish I could afford all the flip flops parts and swaps.
But all I can say is be happy with what you got.

But if if you are truly unhappy go with the gut and get the civic.

i love both cars in fact i ahve spent many hours wrenching on both cars including a 95 gsx that ran 11's after we were done. over all i would say just keep the evo and use it as your track/fun car. and get a DD. there are guys making 900+whp now on AWD dynos thats 900+AWHP. you will be hard pressed to make any civic create that much power and it will never be AWD. if you are really stuck on a civic get a EG hatch and boost a b series. it would be much cheaper that a 7thgen and it has a huge aftermarket for CHEAP. much cheaper than the the k series. not to mention the price difference of a b series to a k series alone. for the $$$ factor the EG is a way better platform than a EM2. it weighs less too :)

Civic Love. That's all there is to it. Believe me, I'm annoyed by my managers cause they keep trying to get me to trade it in towards a WRX. I guess that's one downside to working at a subaru dealership where the sales are a little slow.

swifty2k 05-08-2006 09:48 PM

Keep the EVO for sure...
AWD > FWD all day long in my opinion

prawdigy 05-08-2006 11:54 PM

Hmm... with those mods on your car, you should be well into the 12's. I think it could be the 18's and that you do not have any engine management, or so it seems. Wouldn't a MBC and cam gears call for a tune anyway? Good pick up on ARC, I want ARC stuff too, but its just way too expensive. But, I would definitely not downgrade back to a FWD, because with all that power, there is a lot of loss of traction, and I doubt an LSD would fix all of it. By the way I do not drive a civic, and I am not a troll, my brother has a 2001 civic. Post up pictures when you can.

Nice!! It could just be the added diameter. So, stock wise, you are just 1 second slower than a fully built k20a- someone mentioned that. Once you get that reflash and tune, you will find a new, greater love for your car. Since you already have a good suspension, the next thing I'd do would be sway bars. They make a world of difference in response and feel. If you are ever down in the Torrance area hit me up, I really want to check out your car.

7thGenerasianCivic 05-09-2006 12:55 AM

trade you my 2k1 with 40K miles for your evo. Excellent condition!!!

RedDragon333 05-09-2006 01:12 AM

Stick with the EVO and tune the crap out of it

I think you should just trade me my car and $5,000 for your EVO. :) It already has awsome suspension. and runs low 14's/high 13's :) And its almost show ready minus a new paint job.

nick95673 05-09-2006 03:32 PM

buy an f-150 lightning or a silverado SS. Maybe a Mustang GT, G35 or a GTO If you were bored with an evo I think its time to look at something all together different.

nick95673 05-09-2006 03:33 PM

maybe a 325cl

LXracer 05-09-2006 03:36 PM
