thiscrackerntam 02-03-2005 05:18 PM

man are you tuned yet?

phil.stark 02-03-2005 05:45 PM

You know you're my performance standard right? I'm right behind you with the same turbo kit. After my eManage install this weekend, and a dyno next week, maybe a boost controller.

Keep it up man!

There's no need for emanage on TSI's kit. That's what TSI's ICU is for.

as best as i can be on a narrowband. I'ma have it professionally tuned on a dyno when it warms up a bit.

Have you seen my 0-110mph @ 6psi video?

Civic_RedLine 02-03-2005 09:49 PM

is it much faster now? u got any problems with stock internals? 9 psi is over recommended setting.

EternalBlue_Vic 02-03-2005 09:53 PM

She's got a niiiiiiice amout of more pep to her. No problem with internals. Lots of members on here are boosting more then recommended for quite a while. CrewCheif's running 10lbs daily. Guns ran 12psi for well over a year no problems, etc.

phil.stark 02-03-2005 11:29 PM

TSI's ICU is too basic. I'd hate to think that 2 master mechanics, o2 wideband readings, and a dyno are wrong when it comes to adding an eManage.

born2xLr8 02-04-2005 11:05 PM

Where can i read/learn more about the TSI kit?

EternalBlue_Vic 02-05-2005 12:42 PM

Guns's civic was also pretty well tuned on a dyno. I think you might be having some problems here soon if you dont take it easy on it.

civic01vtec 02-05-2005 08:40 PM

i run that daily............been that way for 9 months

I hate to say it but I think phil is right. A couple extra injectors mouted into the block attached to the throttle body doesnt seem to compare to the tunability that the emanage route gives you.

TSI's ICU < emanage

you're running an SF fuel system which has a reputation of keeping the a/f rich though, right? I think yours even seems safer than that of TSI's...
