Civic 2002 sway bar links Hello guys, i m new here and i need some help/advise from you. With the wheels on the ground i noticed that both (front) have a gap. (easy with the hand i can turn them) is that ok? or should be fixed? are not bent or broken. Thanks. |

Re: Civic 2002 sway bar links I kinda meant the gap part you mentioned. That's what I couldn't picture in my head. What I see in your pic looks normal to me. Yes they are supposed to be able to pivot a bit, both ends of each link are comprised of a ball-and-socket type joint with a threaded stud sticking out. |

Re: Civic 2002 sway bar links i thought they should be solid and with no movement (because of the 4 rivets on the side). But from what i understand needs to be replaced only if are broken? |
Re: Civic 2002 sway bar links They can become noisy as wear develops between the ball stud and nylon liner. You would be able to feel it as a small amount of free play when you grab the ends of the sway bar and push/pull up and down. The 4 dots you see are what secures the nylon liner into the cup area. |
