Help on proper tire pressure for 245/45ZR/17 Called America's Tire Co. and guy said should be 35 Psi. Does anyone know what the proper tire pressure is for Raptor Riken 245x45x17? Thanks! |
Re: Help on proper tire pressure for 245/45ZR/17 Tire pressure is mainly based on weight. And it is clearly marked in side the drivers door sill. you may as an option increase that designated psi by 1 or 2 lbs if you like. |
Re: Help on proper tire pressure for 245/45ZR/17 Its on the sidewall on all tires isnt it? |
Re: Help on proper tire pressure for 245/45ZR/17 ^no. the sidewalls tell you the MAXIMUM pressure allowed to safely operate the tire. our pressure is somewhere along the lines of 30-32psi |
Re: Help on proper tire pressure for 245/45ZR/17 ^^^^^^^ that is correct... just run 33 or 34 with a tire like that running 32 might be a little to soft and then you run the risk of a nice blowout off a pot-hole well actually reguardless a tire like that will suffer from anything but smooth ass roads. good luck |

Re: Help on proper tire pressure for 245/45ZR/17 i run 31ish psi during the summer time and about 32psi during the winter... but here in cali, the temp doesnt really ever change.... 75degrees of sunny blue skies year round |
Re: Help on proper tire pressure for 245/45ZR/17 i like 35 psi in the summer its not too harsh. in winter tho everything is very stiff. |
Re: Help on proper tire pressure for 245/45ZR/17 running 34lbs up front and 40 in the rears in my hankook rs-2's. use to run 32/36. |
