brake pads scratching?

alright guys. after driving for a while, i guess when the brakes get warm, when i start to brake my brakes make a scraping noise. i checked to see if the rotors had and grooves on them but the rotors seem fine. is it time for a break change? also if it helps i have just about 13k miles.

The break wear sensor on my car made a squeaking noise while driving at lower speeds that was very audiable. It disappeared under breaking, So your problem might be that you need some anti-squeal compound on the back? Don't know...But I'd say try that first, It's only a few dollars. If it persists, take it to a mechanic.

??????????
might have a little bit of clearance between the backing plate for the liner and the clip holding the whole pad to the bracket....
