Problems with clutch after replacing some things and need some help.

Soooo I decided to replace my clutch the other day so I got a clutch kit, oem, and replaced the clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and the pilot bearing. Now after it was all back together I put it in reverse to back out of my driveway and then I hear a sound and it won't do anything now. It seems to go into any gear fine with it running or not. If I push the gas the odometer actually says I'm going 20mph which is weird. So I read some things and tried to bleed the slave cylinder with no avail....so I decided to unbolt the slave cylinder to look at it and make sure it wasn't leaking and see if it was working properly. Seems to be fine. Well after I get it back on and try to use the clutch again, the pedal just stays on the floor. Now I'm at a point to where I need some help with my specific situation. This is frustrating. Thanks ahead of time for anyone with advice. The car is a Honda Civic ex 02!

Is it possible that there is still air in the lines? Like, did you do a VACUUM bleed?
Doing a quick search, I'm seeing similar problems when the axle(s) popped out of place. Looks like you might need to get under the car again... :(

Ah. So you're saying try a vacuum bleed and if that doesn't work, you think one of the axles popped out?

Both probably need done... it sounds like it COULD be a combination of the two.

What you're saying makes sense. So after work I'll check the axles out and then go get a vacuum pump. I'll let you know how it goes!

Alright. So now I've bled the master cylinder with the vacuum and got a little bit of pressure back. It at least comes back up. Then I tried to bleed the slave and it just stays on the floor now. So I'm letting it bleed the master again and going from there. Now my cv axles....the passenger one seems pretty solid I can't move it much by hand, but the driver side can come out just a little bit...what do ya think?

Axle popped out.

I tried moving them both by hand and the passenger side I can't really move, but the driver side I can seem to pull out a little bit. Do you think that's a part of my problem?

How far are you talking?

If the joint is not securely latched into the trans, that's a problem.
Find out why?
Did you replace axles? Do new parts match the old parts? Exactly?
Wrong size? Missing snap ring?
Not pushed in far enough to latch?
Sheared the tip of the splined stub off when it popped out under load?

Big problem in these pics for example, axle is not installed correctly:

So an update....I figured out the axle problem. It just popped out so I had to just get it back in there. Pretty painless overall, but I just can't seem to get the clutch bled enough. I've tried every conceivable way to bleed it I've found online and nothing is working. I replaced the master cylinder and have looked at the slave and it seems fine. I really don't know what to do at this point...

Gotta pick that up with your hand (or toes) until the system is bled.

I only unbolt the slave from the trans so I don't have to deal with trying to bleed it out later.

What is 'enough'? Does it work at all?
Did you bench bleed the master before install?
Did you get the line inserted and pinned?

You replaced the master, now does the pedal pushrod have enough clearance?

Did you search the forum for bleeding tips?

There are more

Update. So after readin more and more I just decided to go get a pneumatic pressure bleeder...and thank god it worked. So all in all **** trying to use a hand held vacuum pump or doing it by hand. Took 10 minutes and I have pressure. Thanks for all your help guys. I'll come back and update if anything changes!
