Door vapor barrier/plastic film adhesive I recently replaced a faulty window regulator on 2004 civic. Easy enough...but the adhesive that attaches the white plastic film barrier to the metal door is dried out and wont stick. What do you guys recommend in this case? I want the ability to go back in there if needed. So, willing to pay for the right adhesive that will give me the option to undo the film again in the future (hoping this car will be dead by the time I will need to replace another component in the door). Thanks! |
Re: Door vapor barrier/plastic film adhesive I know it's not exactly right...... I've used black strip caulk, and I've used RTV silicone sealer. I also try to only peel the plastic down from the top so I disturb the bottom as little as possible. |
