Exactly! JiffyPop thank you! Heh, yes if it weren't for D3 and D2 I would be riding my brakes down the freakin mountain like all the other damned morons who don't know how to use those gears. Those gears are there for a reason,. and people who need them *should* use them... (like me who lives out in the booneys in the middle of nowhere where you have to drive mountain roads for 20 minutes to get to any civilization) or rather people who are morons and think it is going to f* up their car just ride their brakes the whole way. There's nothing better than smelling burning breaks in the morning while commuting to work!

If I'm stuck behind some stupid person riding their brakes I'll put it down to D3, if they're way slow I'll even put it down to D2... anything so I don't have to be riding my brakes as well.. mind you at this point I'm probably only going 15 mph. And when I'm going uphill just cruising the road when the grade gets steep enough I don't want to lag out in D trying to make it around that corner, I'll put it in D3 and make it w/ no problem and not lose any speed at all (mind you again at this point the most I can go on that road is about 40 mph w/o losing control)

Anyways... the car is made to handle that kind of driving and it is not going to blow out my transmission, my car has 22k miles of that type of driving (100 miles a day mountain and freeway) every single day on it and runs perfectly.
