Why is their water in my Mr. Clean reefill!!!

WTF??? Sealed and everything. Maybe some scammer used it and taped the sael on for exchange?????

kalipnoi 08-22-2004 04:34 PM

are you talking about the filter? have you used it yet?

Danman114 09-16-2004 08:55 AM

When I bought mine brand new there was water in the filter.maybe thats just the way its made?

How do you like it? I thought it was ok, but not as good as I had hoped.

Honda2k4 09-16-2004 11:00 AM

its not that great, plus its starting to leak where its connected to the hose

rckdrmr 09-16-2004 12:53 PM

okay... dry by hand too (with a waffle weave towel or the absorber), that way if you missed some spots washing it, you can get them. mr. clean is a waste of $$.

they could get it moisterized when they ship them out so the filter doesn't dry out?

MegaHurtz 09-19-2004 01:02 AM

I just bought a replacment filter (unopened so far) and the verdict is:

WATER

They must be made that way, it's only the tiniest little amount, probably to keep it moisturized and from drying out or something

es2 10-06-2004 11:38 AM

do not buy them they suck so bad mine leaks soap out everywere when i get done with it and the autodry isn't that good either

Excal 10-06-2004 02:34 PM

I used mine hell like twice a week...spray on water spray on soap wash with a mit or sponge or whatever. then wash off soap...and dry by hand. It beats draging around a nasty bucket with water and soap in it.

mrchowmein 10-22-2004 02:24 AM

the filter needs to be kept moist so the membrane inside will rot, its written on the filter. mr clean works well (in terms of $$$) for the occassional washer, but its not for ppl who wash religiously. it only works if you follow the directions exactly.
