anyone have autoloc hidden antenna? got an idea
 

well i have a 97 civic and the motor on my antenna broke. i was thinking of getting autoloc's hidden antenna and also getting the honda antenna block off plate so it'll cover up the hole where the nonretracting antenna goes. how does the autoloc antenna install? just wire it up and mount it in the car or what? any info is appreciated.

not to flame.. but we have aentenas integrated into our back windows... you might not find much help here... but good luck..

yeah we have factory hidden antennas, try over at www.clubcivic.com

im not familiar with autoloc's but metra has a windshield mount version. you plug it into your radio's antenna plug and then wire it up to your antenna output on the radio. works GREAT in most applications.

i know about the antenna in our em. that's what gave me the idea to do it in my ek. i thought maybe someone else on here would have another car with an external antenna.

Get the one for the 7th gens and put it in yours

i thought about that but, the autoloc antenna is only $30 at the most. an oem antenna would prolly be alot more.

The 7thgens is built into the glass anyways :lol:
