s2000.. like 600hp on stock internals.. |
Test drive both and see what he likes the best. The STI in my opinion looks too boy-racerish. You can't really ignore the power underneath the hood though. The flat four really makes a lot of power. If this guy is a track enthusiast, then go for the s2k. If this will be his year round car, and he gets stuck in snow, the STI will be better, because the car won't fishtail on turns. |

looks, i'd go s2000.. performance you can go either.. as far as the sound of them.. sti. i don't think you can have a meaner sounding 4 cylinder than the sti.. other than maybe that 700whp evo. |
Little update..... He went with the STI. He got a silver one with the silver rime. Very nice. The reason why he went with the STI is because the s2000 had no trunk, was only 2 seats, and he thinks it did not handle as well as the STI. Basically he said that the s2000 reminds him of a miata, its like a mid-life crisis car for 50 year olds. The only people we see driving s2000's around here are middle aged guys. Even the guy at the honda dealership told us that mostly older men purshase the s2000. |
600 hp on stock internals!!! Try 400-50 and that is really not that reliable, so ive heard. |

In terms of sound I love the s2000 sound. High revving formula one sound that scares people when you pass by. |
don't get me wrong, i love the sound of an s2000.. it's just an STI sounds so fxcking mean.. i love it. |

^^^ i heard that it can too but i dont know where...i would have chose the s2k over an STI. b/c i hate picking people up and besides the nsx, the s2000 is my dream car. but with the sti..i could still go snowboarding, but i would still choose the s2k |

^ thats f'in crazy though |
i would go with the sti just becaue i always have people coming with me and tend o carry around a lot of stuff, so it would just be more real to have as an everyday driver. but the s2000 isa great car, wouldn;t mind haveing one if i had another car with 4 seats somewhere too. |
^ same here... plus i love fast 4drs. |

yes its turboed... its got 400hp on the dyno. |
the current highest whp is about 850 for an S2000 |
^That's some crazy ish. Hope your friend likes his STi! Edit: If he, for any reason, doesn't like the STi, I'll take one for the team and trade with him :D |
good choice |
Here simple example of what I was saying. 442whp@18psi on 93 octane Mods: Engine/Fuel Management * Stock ECU * inlinePRO Map Defensor * inlinePRO 625 cc Flow-Matched Injectors * inlinePRO 255 lph High-Flow Fuelpump * AFC Fuel Controller * FMU (12:1 Ratio) http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg |
yeah we have members on 93 pump gas going just over 500whp too. |
