FYI, nitrous oxide is illegal on public roads in all 50 states.

so basically it's legal on a track or closed course/road.

this means if you have the tanks hooked up, and you get pulled over, you can get a ticket and/or have it confiscated. the only way you can legally have it in your car is without the bottle being hooked up. and even then, some states have regulations regarding oxidizers such as nitrous oxide and certain contents under pressure.

and for god sakes, enough with the damn "it's not NOS, NOS is a brand, it's called nitrous oxide".

we all friggin know that. but calling it "NOS" is not necessarily wrong, since it's a widely used/accepted term for nitrous oxide.

just like kleenex isn't really kleenex. kleenex is the name of a company that makes facial tissue.

I still havent gotten a solid answer if its illegal or not. Can anyone prove with some sources maybe?

NOS is legal if your 18 or over and the bottle is not open, if the cop were to pull you over and check to see if you had been using it and you were then you would be in deep shit but if it's closed then your ok. Thats the law here in AZ.
