If a bone stock 99 Integra GS-R and a 99 Civic SI lined up, the civic with just a SRI, who do you think would win? |
The integra would win because it has more horses, i think:susp: |
the integra |
That's what I though too but just wanted to see. How many horsies does the SI have? |
I also think the integra would win. |
Integra definitely. |
I too think the integra would win. The 99 civic si only has about 135-140 hp while the integra has about 170 hp. |
The 99-00 Si has 160 hp. Also, a lot of the race depends on the driver. |
the integra, but i think it'd be pretty close |
ME:) the integra |
<< The 99-00 Si has 160 hp. Also, a lot of the race depends on the driver. >> I think he meant to the wheels... SI's have approx. 138 to the wheels |
Everyone is sayin the integra, so I'll go with them. |
I hate to sound like an ass, but the Si has 167 HP stock off the lot, with a short ram, it would have about 172-175 of HP. Between these two cars, I would say it would be a close match, the civic may even take the integra, if the integra is plain stock. |
My boyfriend has a 99 si, and when it comes down to it, it'll be a close race, but all depends on the driver ..... |
integra will win on 3rd gear....i've done it |
not flaming antidote11 or anything, but the 99 Si only has 160 hp not 167, and an SRI would probably put that around 165 tops. a friend of mine has a 99 SI and my brothers gf has a 00 GS-R and that stock is 170 hp. a lot of the race depends on the driver, but the GS-R has a tighter suspension so it depends on what kind of race. |
i would say the integra would win cuz i had a GSR motor in my former civic and it out performed all the civic SI(160hp) i ran against, except for the turbocharged ones.the GSR motor does'nt get off the line as fast as the SI but half way through 2nd gear the GSR always come rite back and beat the SI.trust me,i know.. |
FireVTEC is right its 160hp on the fly...and it will be close depending on the drivers reaction time and shifting ablilties. Correct me if im wrong doesnt the Integ weigh more? If it does then the power to wieght ratio would be about the same. |
The Si will most likely lose because it has no "tork":cry:But if the GS-R drivers a retard prolly the Si |
yeah, iheard like 159hp for the SI,,,,,,,what about stock 99-00SI against 2k1 ex w/ i/h/e/???????? do we even try????? |
I sure as hell wouldn't try. Now that I see what all of you are saying though, I can't wait till I go home again, gonna take dad's teg out for a spin and try this out. Some punk thinks his SI is bad and can't be beat. Heh, I know how to drive so maybe I'll stand a chance and possibly beat him. |
The integra would win but who knows could be close depends on driver. |
okay. the GSR is faster than the Si. That's nothing to argue about, its a fact. (if you want me to be specific, a 98+ GSR coupe 5spd is faster than a 00-99 Si coupe 5spd, both US version) we're talkign mid 15 sec car vs. high 15 sec car. BUT because of driver factor, it can be a very close race. but if a good drivei n the GSR knows what he's doing, he should be able to take out the Si. power to weight ratio isn't the only factor. end of discussion. ho ho |
just wanna make sure that SI has 160 hp, right?? three of my fds have that car, so i dont think i am wrong... |
