Passenger window keeps shorting out. 01 sedan.

Hi, the fuse for the passenger window keeps shorting out and I have no idea why it started doing this. When I bought the car it worked fine but then all of sudden it stopped. I bought a new motor for the window but it didn't fix the problem. I have looked for exposed/cut wiring but I can't seem to find anything. If any guru's out there have any tips or tricks to find the problem I would really appreciate it! :)

Is there water seeping in somewhere? Is your fusebox sealed down correctly?

I don't believe there is a leak. The fuse box under the steering wheel is where I found the blown 20A fuse for the passenger window. All of the other fuses seem to be fine except for that one. I have tried replacing the fuse a couple times, but as soon as the key is turned and the window switch is pressed the fuse blows. :/

Do you have a multi-meter and know how to use it?

Damn, I hate shorts. I wish I could be more help, but I am not too inclined when it comes to electrical problems.

I wonder if the switch itself can be shorting out the circuit. Have you pulled the door panel off already?
