aem fuel rail is the aem fuel rail out yet? |
what is that for? |
its not for sale yet but i think the part # is 25-112c |
TOm is the part number king...What is the actual job that the fuel rail does?? |
well mr. diamond member person! it has a bigger hole goin through the rail wich in turn allows more fuel to be delivered to the injectors. therefore more power. if you get the regulator and fuel pump (they havent made for us yet) you will feel a big difference in power. |
Really....Thanks for the info Type R Tom....You really didnt have to get all mean though....You made me cry:cry: HAHAHA:) |
You should be able to use the RSX-S Fuel pump....maybe the regulator too, I'm not sure... |
i was under the impression that the fuel pump and regulator were installed in the gas tank themselves, thus the reason why its called a returnless fuel system and whats giving us the big problem with turbos and such. Now, I dont know why aem would come out with a fuel rail and not come out with a fuel pump and regulator to convert our cars back to a return system. And I also believe that the rsx has the returnless fuel system too, but just a higher compacity and higher volume output for the fuel pump and regulator, but I maybe wrong. |
The RSX engine is the K20A3 same with the civic si/sir the RSX type s american is the K20A2 both of them have returnin fuel systems you can change the Fuel Rail, Fuel Pump, Fuel Pressure Reg, Fuel Filter, and add new Injectors where as the D17A2 and D17A are both returnless fuel systems |
see, someone told me that the d17 and the k series engines have returnless fuel systems, but i guess they were wrong. I wonder if there is a way to convert our cars into returning fuel systems, or is that what the fuel rail might do? |
