is it even possible to have a quarter mile under 14's w/o going turbo and nitrous with a d17a1 sedan.

I doubt it would be possible even with a nitrous kit, to run under 14 in a d17a1 sedan you need to either k-swap or do a full motor build.

Depends how crazy you wanna go. You can do something for 1,000 bucks, or you can do something for 10,000 bucks.

to run below 14, I'd say your looking at minimum $5k.

I'd look up andymans build and see what track numbers he posted to give you an idea.

For all out straight line power, you are going to want to turbo your car, not go NA. Just research as much as you can for week about everything turbo on this site and you'll be a genius. Turboing isnt scary if you do it right.
