Wing and badge removal and holes filled So last night I decided that I did not like the big rice wing on the back of my new ride so I took it off. One of the bolts i had to drill out because the previous owner decided to use crappy bolt that were excessively rusty. I forgot to take pics as I went along so here is how I bought it... http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/a...amera035-1.jpg And here is how it looks tonight after I sanded filed and bondo'd the holes. I made one mistake, I should have put tape or something on the other side of the hole when I filled them with bondo. Here it is right now... http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/a...en/002-4-1.jpg Tomorrow I will sand it down and prime/seal it. Getting it ready for some paint! |
Re: Wing and badge removal and holes filled The world is a better place without that wing on your car! :D lol |
Re: Wing and badge removal and holes filled Its sad to see idiots out there have done these sort of things to perfectly good hondas in the first place. Good job on taking it off. |
Re: Wing and badge removal and holes filled 3 Attachment(s) So today I took this thing... http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/a...Tannen/013.jpg And I did this... Attachment 105240 But I did not put enough bondo on the first time so I used this... Attachment 105241 To do this... Attachment 105242 And I am bored waiting for it to dry so I am writing this. |
Re: Wing and badge removal and holes filled What was wrong with the badge? And where did you end up putting that huge waste of plastic or ricers dream? lol |
Re: Wing and badge removal and holes filled I swear it looks like they put it on backwards. lol |

Re: Wing and badge removal and holes filled Lol I almost forgot to finish up this thread. I will try and post finished product up today. |
Re: Wing and badge removal and holes filled Looks good without that monstrosity on the trunk:roflmao::roflmao:. I feel the same about Civics. I like them clean and simple. I've always thought that EBP color was gorgeous. The best out of the 3 for the EM1s. |
Re: Wing and badge removal and holes filled Good luck with the sanding :) |
Re: Wing and badge removal and holes filled Can't wait to see finished parts. |
Re: Wing and badge removal and holes filled Here it is. This is how it will stay until I get a new front and rear bumper... http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/a...n/73275e11.jpg |
Re: Wing and badge removal and holes filled I also fixed my other Honda! http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/a...n/cac23858.jpg http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/a...n/2c2917ff.jpg |

I am not sure. I am getting a full body kit, becuase they seem to be cheaper than getting stock plastic bumpers. I am trying to find one that doesn't make the car look like a spaceship. I like bodykits.com and bodykitsusa.com selection. They have a couple subtle kits. I think I will get fiberglass because it is a lot cheaper and can be repaired. But I am still looking around, there are a lot of sites out there. |
