Hey a newbie here...

:help::help:
Hey guys,
I have a Honda Civic not the sporty range but a family range...its a 5 door hatch back MB2 sereis..I have got this problem on my honda's brake which is anoying me for a while now:mad::mad:. been to different garages no use, changed the discs and pads and plenty of times still the same problem even new calliper on both sides ...firstly the driver side pads wears of quicker than the passenger side...and secondly, the driver side discs and pads they dont sit properly, i mean the clearence between the pads and disc varies as it rotates. say you take the tyres of and simply rotate the discs with your hand, it rotaotes freely for 3/4 of the way and suddenly it gets tighter, its almost like the disc and the pads are not parallel to each other...any idea....i hope you guys understant what i am saying....

When you brake, does your car pull any direction?
If so, it's your rotors.

Did U Try Cutting The Rotors Back A Little Bit

You Can Change The Pads All You Want But If U Dont Cut The Rotors

The New Pads Wont Sit Right on Them And They Will Wear Down Faster And

Unevenly And Possibly Make Some Noise

So Look Into That

did you purchase the car new or used? what year is the car? if you bought it used, it may have had some front end damage, and a part may still be bent.

You could always pull the hub from the axle as it might not be sitting inside the bearings correctly... hmm... I dunno, its late. Not worth the trouble. Take it to midas, arent they the brake specialists?
