Getting that piece out that in front of the gauges OK. I understand that after you remove the 2 screws in the top, you supposedly just pull it out. I tried this yesterday to no avail. How hard do you have to pull on the damn thing? I seriously thought I was gonna break it. It seems to be stuck right above the steering wheel. I can get it out at the top and down the sides. I'm sure others have taken this out, but jeez. Mine's really in there good. Can anyone recommend a tool or something? Maybe one of them trim panel popper things? |
you just gotta have faith in your self and PULL. it helps a bit if you take off the steering column housing. good luck:tup: |
there are two clips on the bottom by the stearing collum.....if you pull up on that then its a bit easier...if your brave enough you can try and wedge a flat head screwdriver in there and push the clip out....but be careful cause you can damage your interior or break the clip good luck |
Here is a link to another thread where I gave some instructions... If you have further questions, PM me and I'll help you out... Good Luck. |
