I did a DIY on removing the lover grill and replacing it with a mesh grill. I didn't get a lot of feedback so I guess it wasn't a success like yours

People are funny, it depends on what the flavor of the day is.
With all the great DIYs made very little get into the DIY section of this site. Not sure why?

CrewChief 09-11-2003 01:53 AM

I don't even know how to put one in that section. I'll have to look in to is.

How strong are they stuck there? Is the hole that you dirlled noticable at all or does the cc buttons cover it all the way? Looks great bro.

It is held very strongly, 3M tape is used to hold your body kit to your vehicle along with a few other clasps and screws. We carefully drill the hole and rechecked not to over do it. The plastic has a slope to it ... so you have to build up your 3M tape on itself to get the correct fit
IT WILL HOLD. I chose 3M tape because if I need to make any changes I can easily remove it.
