Do auto tranny treatments work?

Just change the tranny fluid like the manual says. Don't go to a quick lube place either, go to honda. Those quick lube places use a pressurized system that doesn't seem to work to well with these trannies. Use only Honda ATF, I've heard Redline is good to. Don't use some Autozone crap, the Honda ATF is not the same and it will screw everyhting up.

ive used lucas tranny additive and my auto tranny seems to shift better and smoother. I noticed some slippage before i added it and now its alot better just my 25 cents

i was told from my mechanic to put in some tranny fluid cuz apparently it's making more noise than it should


are you supposed to put the treatment via the dipstick? ...just making sure

make sure its full when the enigine is warmed up. use honda atf only. additives will not fix any problems, only give you a little time before it breaks down.

true that^^, and yes u do add it via dip stick, gotta buy a tranny funnel comes witha lil hose attachment fits right in there. And when u add that lucas stuff u need like a paint stick something to swirl it around is it goes down the funnel. its realllly thick. also before u do that u might wanna change ur tranny fluid if u havent recently. Im bringin mine in tommorow.

honda dude says u should do it every 10-15k or so. cuz are trannys suck at dissapating heat and heat damage occurs quick. My flywheel is heat damaged already.!!!
