Exclamation CF hood won't close

I just bought a CF hood yesterday and tried to install it and it wouldn't go all the way down. I did a search and someone said something about the hood levelers...i think they are the two black things near the headlight. Me and my friend tried adjusting those and it would not fit. It closes but something is in the way. When i shined a flashlight into it...it looked as if the silver thing that hooks on to the CF hood is hitting against the hood. Not sure how to fix this but any suggestions would help.

if the silver thing you are talking about is the hook. then try bending or grinding just the pointy top over to clear.

hey, i know how it feels, i had that hood before walter haha. just take out all the rubber stoppers on the frame of the car. close the hood (not all the way) lift up the lever and the hood should come down a bit, then press down to fully close it. once you get the hang of it. put the two rear rubber stoppers back on, you'll need those to reduce hood vibration. if you cant close it with the rubber stoppers, try the other 2. if it still wont close, you might have to get hood pins

btw, my new cf hood fits perfectly! no gaps or anything. its made by bodykits nw
