I just bought a CF hood yesterday and tried to install it and it wouldn't go all the way down. I did a search and someone said something about the hood levelers...i think they are the two black things near the headlight. Me and my friend tried adjusting those and it would not fit. It closes but something is in the way. When i shined a flashlight into it...it looked as if the silver thing that hooks on to the CF hood is hitting against the hood. Not sure how to fix this but any suggestions would help.

i had the same problem i just trimmed the rubber stops down a little and it fits. i have to kinda push and drop at the same time for the hood to latch but when it is latched it is tight. good luck
it only cost me 60 bucks CDN. and they just took one of the latches that hold the hood and modified it. and it fit's fine...
i got some taiwanese replica but hell... its light as hell and fitment is perfect!!

hey, i know how it feels, i had that hood before walter haha. just take out all the rubber stoppers on the frame of the car. close the hood (not all the way) lift up the lever and the hood should come down a bit, then press down to fully close it. once you get the hang of it. put the two rear rubber stoppers back on, you'll need those to reduce hood vibration. if you cant close it with the rubber stoppers, try the other 2. if it still wont close, you might have to get hood pins
btw, my new cf hood fits perfectly! no gaps or anything. its made by bodykits nw
