TYC Projectors problem
I don't know if anyone can help, but one of my lights isn't working properly and I think it might have something to do with the wiring because I've checked the bulbs.
All parking and signal lights work fine. For the driver side light when I turn the low means on, both the low beam and high beam come on, but both at low wattage, and at the same time the passenger side high beam comes on too, also at low wattage while the low beam is normal. When I put the high beams on, the passenger side is OK, but the driver side is still at low wattage.
Has anyone had this problem before? Can anyone rocommend anything or help in any way?

Hey, this happened to me and 5 mins later the fuse blew. Check your fuses. Might as well replace the side that is only coming on low wattage now anyhow. It's in the underhood fuse box. There isn't an extra 15 amp fuse, but I just took the 15 amp fuse out of the cigarette lighter/accessory slot and used it until I got a replacement.
Let me know how it goes.

yeah, someone else suggested the fuses yesterday and I'm sorry to say, but I had forgotten all together that there are fuses in the engine bay. I should be ashamed of myself, lol. Thanks, I'll check'em now and le tyou know.

Yeah, it was the fuse, thanks a lot guys. The whole problem started from these MTEC 2X bulbs I bought. One of them was crooked and I didn’t notice so of course the beam was off center. When I tried to center it the lens was all the way inwards and nothing, and I think the lens must have touched the bulb cuz that’s when the fuse blew.
It’s just that Honda has such weird wiring in Canada due to the DRL that it’s hard to figure out that your fuse blew. I mean the lights still worked, just low… ohh well, I’m glad I got it sorted out.

The TYCs come with a place where you can put custom DRLs in the high beam lense. I'm thinking to put some LEDs or something, but I don't know how bright I can get them, and I don't know how hard it'll be to wire them

that's what I though, but some guy was saying how it's for optional DRL, besides, if I put an LED further back in the hole it would still serve as ventilation. But it's probably too much work for just a dumb LED
