Tanabe Exhaust
yes, I would like the know the answer to this question as well. Also, a similar question, I was thinking about buying the tanabe rspec, but putting a different muffler on ... I was wondering if that would make a noticable difference.
I'd go with the full cat back. Fluid piping and smoother bends on those. I have a Greddy EVO cat-back and it is so nice...it purrs and I definately notice a gain in torgue and hp at higher end. I think if you spend less you get less.
Tell me what you don't like about yourself....

Unless you are going to be doing custom piping your best choice is a full cat-back. The cat-back for the Tanabe comes with full stainless steel 2 1/4" piping. The muffler is totally stainless. EVERYTHING is stainless, unlike any other exhaust that I know of at the moment. The piping is mandrel bent also.
If you get custom piping with the universal muffler and no resonator then you exhaust will come out sounding like $hit.
I have the Tanabe and love it.
Go here to hear sound clips of my tanabe.....
