Question Tein SS or Koni with Eibach springs??

Currently, im using eibach springs with stock absorbers on my sedan. The ride is jumpy of course, so im thinking of either fitting koni yellows on it or opt for coilovers (tein ss). I have heard many bad experience from people using the koni yellows. Is the konis that bad??

2ndly, if i do opt for the Tein SS, will it be to uncomfy/stiff for normal road?? I do understand that coilovers will of course be slightly, if not more stiffer..but im afraid that it be too untolerable. A friend of mine uses JIC coilovers (dunno which model..but its for track use), and the ride is sooooo stiff . Basically, it feels like we are riding on a speedboat/driving in offroad roads. It be very helpful if anyone who have the konis/tein fitted in their car (preferably sedans) or anyone who have experience in this to give me some feedback to help me choose.

Thx..

tein is fully adjustable to make it as soft or as hard as you want it. they ride like a dream.

I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I've have the Eibach prokit on for about 8 months now and 2 of my stock shocks are already leaking. the ride is kinda bouncy and uncomfortable. at first i was looking at the Konis but I heard some bad things about them as well, and the fact that you have to destroy your front housings to insert them sounds like a really bad idea. and the rear spring perch is very weak i hear. so anyhow I'm just gonna get the Tein SS. and try & sell my prokit.

I guess it all depends if you got the money for TEINS. If yes, then by all means, go with that set-up!

Ahh, so 'BrotherSound'..you have the same dillema as me huh. Guess we are on the same boat.. Yeh, thats what i heard about the konis...the hacking part. Doesnt sound that safe/assuring. The Teins may cost more, but if the konis really give that much trouble, it will be cheaper to get the teins, then to purchase the konis...only to find out it suck, then change to teins. Well, i guess i will get the tein ss, unless someone have anything gd 2 say about the konis on our 7th gen civics.
